Tim has been a part of Strada Sport since it formed and was appointed the honorary president this year. Before Strada Sport formed Tim was a part of Renrad Club Norwich for many years. Tim raced as professional in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Tim turned professional with Elro Snacks in Holland, he then moved to Viditel, also in Holland. He spent two years with the British ANC team and then Raleigh. Tim then moved onto Festina and then ended his career with Maestro in Belgium. Tim won the British pro criterium champs in 1987 and the pro road race champs in 1989 against riders such as Robert Millar and Malcolm Elliott. He also raced in the GP E3 Harelbeke in 1989 and placed 13th.

Tim now helps junior riders by creating a pathway to a professional level outside of British Cycling.
